Who knows?

Fact is, Provamel supports the International Polar Foundation (IPF) in the development of the world’s first zero emission research station on Antarctica. Provamel is firmly convinced that research in Antarctica is of the greatest importance for finding answers to questions about the future of our planet!

On the occasion of the International Polar Year 2007-2008, the International Polar Foundation will build a new research station in Antarctica. The philosophy which lies at the basis of the stations design is that it must have a minimal impact on the environment by making use of clean and efficient
energy and optimal waste management techniques, in conformity with the requirements of the Protocol on Environmental Protection to the Antarctic Treaty. The new research base will be fully operational by the South Pole season of 2008. Together with the International Polar Foundation we are doing something for a sustainable future!
