Sustainability and respect for the natural and human resources of our planet are something we’re passionate about – we always have been and always will be. Organic soya beans, in other words, ‘float our boat’ big time.
As a consequence we don’t ever source our soya beans on the open ‘commodity market’ where their origin and provenance is unknown but only ever from our extended family of small farmers who farm soya beans organically in strict rotation to prevent impoverishing the soil. A system that has been used by our farmers in Brazil and China for many years whereby the crop is grown on a different plot of land every year in accordance with organic farming methods.
This also means that every organic soya bean that enters our factory can be traced to the actual farm on which it was grown, that it’s guaranteed free from GM and that the land on which it grew is under no circumstances located in a rainforest region nor on land that has been developed or deforested.
