Provamel products are made the long and laborious way - from whole organic soya beans cooked in fresh water rather than from ‘soya isolates’ extracted by chemicals - a process favoured by many companies.

In fact our entire production process is designed to be as natural, environmentally friendly and carbon neutral as humanly possible.

We therefore use all the goodness of the whole organic soya bean and extract it by shelling, washing, soaking and crushing the beans and then centrifuging them in hot water. The resulting mixture is then filtered to provide the basis for our range of soya alternatives to dairy milks, yoghurts, desserts, cream and Tofu.

Our packaging too is chosen with the environment firmly in mind. Being recyclable, sustainable, lightweight and easily transportable, Tetra Pak® cartons are the packaging of choice for our soya drinks since they also retain and preserve the natural goodness and flavour of our milks. And as for our Tofu and Yofu ranges we are actively seeking and implementing design changes to ensure they comprise the least possible amount of packaging and the absolute minimum of non-recyclable waste.
